‘SNL’: Bill Murray As Steven Bannon Faces Off Against Fred Armisen’s Michael Wolff On ‘Morning Joe’

‘Saturday Night Live’ found their perfect Steve Bannon in Bill Murray, who says Logan Paul has future in politics! Here it is!

We’re dying! Saturday Night Live started off 2018 with another sketch poking fun at MSNBC’s Morning Joe! Mika Brzeinski (Kate McKinnon, 34) and Joe Scarborough (Alex Moffat, 35) were sharing their disbelief at President Donald Trump’s, 71, latest bad behavior when a few familiar faces dropped by! Steve Bannon (Bill Murray, 67) and Fire and Fury author Michael Wolff (Fred Armisen, 51) showed up to spar over who saved or ruined who’s career! That’s when Bannon claimed that in fact his career wasn’t over after getting booted from the White House and Breitbart! “I convinced this country to vote for Donald Trump and I can do it again. Already auditioning candidates, got some promising prospect: Logan Paul. Martin Skreli. The Subway guy. Jared Fogle.” Wow! Check out loads more images from season 43 of the beloved sketch show here!

As all real fans know, this incredible ribbing aimed at Trump follows a tradition that has been gangbusters for SNL. The formula is taking the latest episode of the POTUS’s shocking and appalling behavior and giving it a gut-busting comedy turn. Like in early December when Omarosa Manigault, 43, was booted from the White House, SNL made hay of the situation in the Dec. 16 episode. In the sketch, Trump is decorating his Christmas tree with ornaments representing all the staffers that didn’t survive year 1 of his presidency (let’s just say there’s a lot) when out of nowhere there’s a knock on the window! It’s Omarosa (Leslie Jones, 50) begging to be let back in!

And although it wasn’t particularly topical, SNL‘s version of A Christmas Carol designed specifically for Trump was a hit in their Dec. 2 episode! In it, the hammy commander in chief is visited by 3 spirits: Billy Bush (Alex Moffat), Vladimir Putin (Beck Bennett) and last but certainly not least was Hillary Clinton (Kate McKinnon)!  “Tis I, Hillary Rodham Clinton,” the hilarious actress proclaims after she reveals herself. “You, Donald, have given me the greatest Christmas gift of all. Sexual gratification in the form of your slow demise. You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to say this: Lock him up!”

Michael Douglas Vehemently Denies Masturbating In Front Of Former Employee 32 Years Ago

Michael Douglas is making sure time isn’t up for him by getting ahead of a story that he masturbated in front of an ex employee. We’ve got his vehement denial.

Acting legend Michael Douglas, 73, is getting ahead of a story that several trade publications were investigating where a former female employee claimed that he masturbated in front of her 32 years ago. He told our sister site Deadline in an in-depth interview on Jan. 9 that he had been contacted by reporters from our fellow sister site Variety as well as the Hollywood Reporter regarding the tawdry allegations and he revealed that he decided to go on record and make the narrative his own instead of the accuser’s.

The Oscar winner said that he got a call about it before the holidays and then again recently. The woman had claimed her used colorful language in front of her, which he said would have only happened if she listened in on private conversations, and even more disturbing she alleged that Douglas masturbated in front of her. The actor had to rack his brain to even remember the woman, who also claimed that he fired her and blackballed her from getting another job. It turns out she worked at his production development company in the ’80s and he says that she was simply let go because business was slow at the time. He really lashed out about the masturbation claim as he knows how damaging something like that could be once the allegations broke wide.

Douglas said he got on the phone with the reporter from the Hollywood Reporter and told them that the masturbation story was “a complete lie, fabrication, no truth to it whatsoever. The reporter told me, ‘she did say that you never harassed her, never touched her,’ and I said…okay. So I didn’t know where this comes from.” He says a reporter from Variety then contacted him several days ago and Douglas realized the woman was shopping her story and the HR was about to break it. He decided then and there to set the record straight before the accusations ever hit the press. See pics of  Michael, here.

He told Deadline, “I’d confess to anything I thought I was responsible for. And it was most certainly not masturbating in front of this woman. This reeks. I would have respected if she had reached out to me any time over these years, to share her pain or concerns and I would have been the first one to respond. But this, going directly to the newspapers or whatever you want to call them, it just reeks of something else. I’m upset. It wasn’t the new year I had anticipated. I’m having a hard time understanding it. I’m very grateful to my family and business associates around me. I’m fearful, I have jobs going with studios who all seem to be supportive at this time. I’m hurt, really hurt and offended and I wonder if people realize when you do something like this, it hurts a lot more than just one person.” You can read the entirety of his interview with Deadline, here.

Mwbuzzers, do you believe Michael that this woman was only coming forward now because of the #metoo movement to carry out a grudge against him?

‘Roseanne’s Michael Fishman: Why Doing The Revival Was A ‘No-Brainer’

Why come back for ‘Roseanne’ after 20 years? Michael Fishman tells HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY that it was more like why NOT?

Michael Fishman, 36, didn’t think twice about coming back for the revival season of Roseanne, he told HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY on January 8 at the Television Critics Association. “For me with everybody coming back it is an absolute no-brainer,” Michael explained. He also revealed that because of his life-long relationship with cast members like Roseanne Barr, John Goodman and Sara Gilbert, he knew everything would work out for the best. “And I think the reality is, for all of us it was that way because what we do is we love working together.”

“I’ve stayed in contact with everybody, so I’m kind of the one guy, as a kid they were so pivotal in my life that I held them in such high esteem that the opportunity to work together — I mean, in this business people are always worried about getting typecast. This is one of those scenarios where this is a dream scenario,” Michael went on while speaking to HollywoodLife. He also shared that he feels strongly a new audience will find its way to Roseanne when the show returns in March 2018. “I really feel that a whole new audience is gonna have a whole new appeal to this show. I have teenage kids, so they didn’t experience the show, in person. My kids had this experience where there’s a lot of shows that they don’t watch, and for them they really liked this and felt like this would a show they would watch. I feel like we’re more inclusive than people realize. And I think what will happen is, if people show up, if they give us a chance, they will find a show that reminds them why they originally watched it and I think a new audience will find why they should watch and keep an open mind.”

Just an FYI: Roseanne is back with all-new episodes starting March 27 at 8pm ET on ABC!

Watch an exuberant, shirtless Michael Shannon cover Iggy Pop

While his Shape of Water colleagues were celebrating Guillermo del Toro’s Golden Globes win at a glitzy awards ceremony, Michael Shannon spent his weekend on a different kind of stage.

The Oscar-nominated actor performed in Chicago on Saturday at Sons of the Silent Age’s tribute concert to David Bowie’s Berlin days. Specifically, he filled in as Iggy Pop — shirtless, and with his characteristic intensity on full display.

Here’s a photo.

A fan-shot video shows Shannon performing “Lust for Life,” leaping around the stage while dancing, singing, and playing the cowbell with so much fervor that it would make Christopher Walken proud.

Watch the big moment in the clip above.

Michael Scott forever.

Some TV shows just know how to do the holidays right. Though it’s been off the air for years now, we’ll always treasure The Office‘s Christmas episodes, especially the ones from when Steve Carell was still on the show. The Dunder Mifflin crew always celebrated with tinsel, vodka (looking at you, Meredith), and plenty of awkward moments. In honor of those classic episodes, here are the quotes you can still use this holiday season!
